Software and Services Vendor Vetting Request
Auburn University has implemented an updated process for vetting vendors of software and technology related services provided to Auburn University as a requirement of the
Software & Information Technology Services Approval Policy
. During this process, a review by the Information Security Office, the Office of Accessibility, the Office of Cash Management, the Division of Institutional Compliance and Privacy Office, and the Office of Information Technology is performed. The purpose of this review is to obtain a better understanding of what information is being captured and/or accessed by outside vendors, provide our organization an opportunity to better protect Auburn University's data and to determine if an application or service meets technical standards necessary for accommodating individuals with disabilities including auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech, and visual disabilities.
